The "Hip-Hop Chef®" is a rare exception in the turbulent world of culinary arts. After bursting on the scene in 2000, he was mentored by "The Godfather of Hip Hop, Russell Simmons" who said in an interview that Chef Tye had Flava, a unique style of cooking and a great hip hop presentation.
